Who can attend Bohemian Summer Festival?Bohemian Summer Festival welcomes and attracts women of all ages due to our "ultimate girls' weekend" concept in which we base the whole festival around. Bohemian Summer Festival is now a 15 plus event due to the extensive feedback from our first event requesting this change (from all ages) and to stay true to our concept to encourage women to do something for themselves. Who are the organisers?Created by two sisters Julz and Kerri, Bohemian Summer festival was founded with the intention to bring about that feeling of being supported and connected to a village. Women are often so busy working and raising their families that we can feel disconnected and alone in our journeys. Whether looking for a fun girls weekend or a more meaningful connection to their sisterhood, we hope that Bohemian Summer Festival leaves them with a renewed feeling of purpose and fulfillment. Ran by Julz, Kerri and a great team of staff.

What is the process of purchasing tickets to arriving at the festival?Get your ticket, pick your accommodation, and grab a car/caravan pass if you need it. The gates open at 7am every day of the festival. Just a heads up - on Friday, the fun starts a bit later so you can set up camp without breaking a sweat. Once you arrive, you will be instructed to drive to your accommodation spot where you can unload and then move your car out to the main parking area. If you have a day pass or staying offsite, you can just park your vehicle and then head straight in. Oh, and don't miss the program! Plan your days or just wing it when you get here. No need to reserve spots in workshops ahead of time. Program will be released soon so keep an eye out.

Do I need a car pass?Yes, those staying onsite will need a car pass. This encourages carpooling and also allows us to plan the festival grounds to run as streamlined as possible. Day pass tickets and those staying offsite do not need a car pass.

How does car parking work?Once you arrive you will be directed to your accommodation option (camping, glamping, cozy cabins). You will unload your belongings and then move your car to the car park. The car park is a short distance away (approx. less than 5 minute walk in most cases). The grounds are mostly level and the paths are well maintained gravel. If you have mobility issues and need a little more support, please let us know when we are scanning your ticket so we can help in any way we can including giving you a lift in one of our buggies.

What time can I arrive on Friday?The gates open at 7am however please note that our program doesn't start until approx. 11am therefore there is no rush. Although we have great plans in place for traffic management, there might a wait to get in so please don't stress if you're not here at 7am.

Can I come just for one day?Absolutely! We will have a Friday, Saturday or Sunday day pass option. Gates open at 7am and close at 10:30pm Friday and Saturday. Day Parking is on the outer of the festival grounds so there is easy access in and out. Your day pass allows you to enjoy all workshops, crafts, live and interactive performances, women's circles etc. Healings & Readings are available for a donation and there will be market and food stalls you can purchase from if you wish.

Can I come alone?Coming alone? Don't stress, we have you covered! We have quite a few people coming alone as it's a great way to make new lifelong friends who share the same interests if this is what you are wanting to do or you're more than welcome to check it out alone without distractions. We do have an area for people camping alone, if this is something you would like, you just need to let them know when you arrive and our traffic crew will let you know where to set up if you're staying on site. Otherwise we also have shared cozy cabins (with single beds) if you prefer to stay in there with other people. There is a dedicated toilet and shower block within this area.

What are the grounds like?The site has well maintained gravel paths, flat grounds and shade. We have made the festival area's close in proximity to allow people will mobility issues as much ease as possible in an outdoor location. Camping and accommodation is very close by. If you have mobility issues please let the staff at the info tent know. We are happy to help you in any way possible including giving you a lift on our buggies.

Is there another option if I can't afford to come?Absolutely! We need volunteers for a range of duties! You may be surprised. You would even have access to the staff tent which includes snacks and cold drinks for the duration of the festival. You can apply HERE.

Can I bring my pet?Service animals are welcome but no other animals will be permitted.

Do I need to book in for the workshops?No, you simply turn up in the space and enjoy however if it is something you are really keen to do we suggest getting to that area a little earlier to ensure your spot!

Will I get a program guide and map when I arrive?Yes you will get a full color printed version of our program guide which will include a map. This will also be available for download at least two weeks before the event.

Have you included the Traditional Owners / Custodians of the land?Yes, this is very important to us and we will have more on this shortly.

What do I need to bring?If Camping and General - Festival ticket and photo ID - Normal camping items like tent, bedding etc - Insect spray and sunscreen - Camp chairs - Esky - Water Bottle - Phone charger and power packs - Towels, toiletries - Touch and battery powered lanterns - Solar lights and other decorations for your tent - Bags for rubbish to take home or to pop into bins onsite if unable to take home - Bags for dirty clothing - Medical Essentials - Picnic Rugs - Cash for donation based services in the Healing Haven - Money for market stalls and food vans (check maps for what cooking facilities there are). There may not be eftpos machines at some stalls so bring cash just in case. - Sunhat and rain poncho. Prepare for all weather events. ​ If in Group Accommodation - Check to see what is provided. Are we able to have our own camp fire on site?Unfortunately due to safety and festival numbers, our public liability insurance has stated that we can't allow you to have your own fire on site.

Can I BYO alcohol?Unfortunately no, BYO alcohol is not allowed. However we do have a licensed bar on site.

What are the accommodation options available at the Bohemian Summer Festival?Bohemian Summer Festival currently has a few different accommodation options (unless sold out) including; - Camping (byo tent and camping equipment) - Glamping, - Cozy cabins or you are welcome to purchase a staying off site pass or day passes. Please note that some of these options sell out fast. If staying offsite or coming in from the train, we have arranged a shuttle bus who may be able to pick you up and drop you off each day. Refund Policy for Stallholders/Presenters and other VendorsDue to the amount of administration etc.. Bohemian Summer Festival will not provide refunds or transfers for any monies paid if you change your mind for any reason and can no longer attend the festival for your confirmed role. Please think about this carefully before going ahead with your application and payment.

Can I come in Thursday night?Yes! We have very limited Thursday night tickets available so you can come and get settled the night before the real action begins. There will also be some activities to enjoy on the Thursday night.

Gates opening timesThursday - (need to purchase an Night Before Early Set Up Pass) 4pm: Gates open - Gates close 7pm ​ Friday 7am: Gates open (please note the gate closes for entry at 7pm) ​ Saturday 7:00am – 11:00am / Exit only after this period ​ Sunday 7:00am – 11:00am / Exit only after this period The festival ends around 4:00pm (guests must exit by 7pm)

Tickets or stall fees which are sold, gifted or allocated by the Festival on the express condition that the holder is bound to the following terms and conditions of sale and entry, which form part of the contract between Bohemian Summer Festival, the purchaser and the ticket holder (referred to as the ‘holder’).
The Terms and Conditions of Sale and Entry include the following.

General Refunds Policy

A change in personal circumstances (including personal choice, medical, family or work related etc) of the holder does not entitle the return or exchange of the wristband/tickets or stall price.

Holders/Vendors agree that Bohemian Summer Festival, and their volunteers, are not liable for acts of God, the weather, strikes, another pandemic, protests, fires or actions taken by government agencies and similar causes beyond the reasonable control of Bohemian Summer Festival and understand festivals and other expenses will not be refunded or transferred in whole or in part in these circumstances. Bohemian Summer Festival reserves the right to cancel or postpone the Festival for any reason.

Stall holders, programming and ticket prices are subject to change at any time without notice.

Tickets and other expenses associated with the festival will not be refunded or transferred under any circumstances including, but not limited to, ticket holders/vendors being asked or forced to leave, holders deciding not to attend any portion of the Festival, the possible non-appearance of any particular person, expected by the holder, whether advertised or not.

Holders/Vendors should carefully consider if they require their own insurance to cover any cancellations of the festival ie. travel, accommodation and other goods or service providers when making arrangements for attendance at the Festival.

The terms and conditions that apply to any particular transaction will be the published terms and conditions at the time the transaction was finalized. Subject to the preceding sentence, Bohemian Summer Festival may alter or change the terms and conditions as they appear on our website from time to time, effective immediately upon posting to the website. The holder should periodically check the terms and conditions HERE.

SELF CARE:
By purchasing a ticket to Bohemian Summer Festival the Holder agrees that:
I am fully responsible for my state of health, be it physical, mental, emotional and spiritual upon my arrival and throughout the Festival/retreat. I am responsible for choosing to attend workshops, presentations and engage in experiences that are of interest to me without knowing exactly what content will be delivered or how I may respond and/or react to this content. I am responsible for my experience and how I respond and/or react to any such experiences during the Festival.
It is my responsibility to ask or call for support if I need it. Holders acknowledge that they are physically able to participate in events and associated activities at the venue, and that they have not been advised otherwise by a qualified medical professional. I am aware that BYO alcohol is prohibited however there is a fully licensed bar on site if I would like to purchase any drinks. I am aware that CAMPFIRES are prohibited ​and I am aware that GAS STOVES AND BBQ'S are prohibited

CLAIMS & COMPENSATION:
To the full extent permitted by law, holders waive all legal rights of action (on behalf of themselves, their heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns) against and fully release Bohemian Summer Festival, its agents, employees, contributors, members and volunteers for all claims for compensation for loss, damage, injury (including, but not limited to, bodily injury, mental anguish, emotional distress, sickness, disease), molestation (including, but not limited to, assault, interference, bullying, abuse) or death howsoever arising out of or in relation to the holder’s participation in the Festival. This includes, without limitation, liability for any negligent or tortious act or omission on the part of the persons released, or under statute or for breach of these terms and conditions.

WARNING: If the holder participates in these activities, the holder’s rights to sue the supplier under the Fair Trading Act 1999 if the holder is killed or injured because the activities were not supplied with due care and skill, or were not reasonably fit for their purpose, are excluded, restricted or modified in the way set out in or on this notice.

The Festival organisers of Bohemian Summer Festival seek to accurately document and promote the event through photography and film. By purchasing tickets and attending, patrons automatically give consent to be included in recordings captured by the organisers or their representatives, which may be used at the discretion of the organisers and partners. Patrons who prefer not to be filmed or photographed should inform the festival information tent. Individual(s) choosing this option will be photographed for identification purposes and will not appear in any promotional material. Unauthorised use of professional camera and recording equipment is prohibited. Guests may use their personal phones to capture photos and videos, but we kindly ask them to respect each other's privacy.

FOOTAGE/PHOTOGRAPY:
Bohemian Summer Festival hopes to document and promote the event through photography & videography.
Attendees automatically provide consent to be included in all photography & videography taken by organizers or official event photographers and for all of these recordings to be used at the discretion of the organizers and their partners.
If you do not wish to be filmed or photographed, it is the responsibility of each individual to leave details at the INFO TENT to make this request and to leave details so we can exclude their image from our promotional material.
With Permission, Presenters and Performers may professionally record their content for their own purposes.
Guests may use their personal phones to capture photos and videos, but we kindly ask them to respect each other's privacy.
